1. Hogenakkal Waterfall, Tamil Nadu
Hogenakkal Falls is situated on the Kaveri River, Dharmapuri,Tamil Nadu. The height of this waterfall is 700 m (2,300 ft) and depth is 100 feet.
2. Phe Phe Falls, Meghalaya
Phe Phe Falls is situated in West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya. It is one of the famous waterfalls of Meghalaya, surrounded by the lush of greenery. It is also called as the Paradise waterfall.
3. Chitrakote Waterfall, Chattisgarh
Chitrakote Waterfall is situated in the Bastar district of Chattisgarh. This wider waterfall in on the Indravati river and falls from a height of 29 meters. On rainy days it looks furious as the water flows with full force.
4. Devkund Waterfall, Maharashtra
Devkund Waterfall is situated Raidad district of Maharashtra. It’s a wonder of nature; massive water falls from the rocky surface looks so furious. On picnic days, this place is one of the best tourist places in Maharashtra.
5. Bhedaghat Waterfall, Jabalpur
Bhedaghat Waterfall is situated in Jabalpur of Madhya Pradesh. The water of the Narmada rivers falls from a height of 30 meters. In between the narrow rocky face water comes down with full of force.
6. Perwaghagh Waterfall, Jharkhand
Perwaghagh Waterfall is located in Jharkhand. Here the ‘Perwa’ means ‘pigeon’ and ‘ghagh’ means ‘house’. Then the meaning of this waterfall is House of Pigeon. The local people still believe that many pigeons are still living in this waterfall.
