NASA DART mission successfully changes Asteroid path

American space agency NASA made history. Through the DRAG mission, NASA successfully changes Asteroid’s direction.

DART is a test and there are no known such asteroid threats to Earth- NASA said. The test cost is $325 million.

The spacecraft is about the size of a mini refrigerator the asteroid is named Dimorphos. The Dimorphos’s size is nearly equal to a cricket stadium. Dimorphos- Didymos I Dimorphos is a minor-planet moon of the near-Earth asteroid 65803 Didymos has a diameter(208 m × 160 m × 133 m) of 170 meters

There is no chance of any harm to the Earth, it is just a test done by NASA agencies to showcase the new technique that can be used in the future.
