Pradeep Jena visited Serengeti National Park : Senior IAS officer, Addl Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner of Odisha Government , Sj. Pradeep Jena ( IAS) recently visited Serengeti National Park of  Tanzania. He has shared some amazing photos of the animals of that national park on his Twitter account.

He has seen 5 number of cheetahs while exploring the fauna of the National Park and their team followed them for nearly 1 hour. He also shared photos of Zebras, elephants, lions, and Giraffes. 

Facts about Serengeti National park : 

The Serengeti National Park is situated in northern Tanzania. It spreads over an area of 14,763 km2 (5,700 sq mi). It is located in the eastern Mara Region and northeastern Simiyu Region. It was established in 1940.

It was proclaimed a national park in 1951, and designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1981.
