World Food day celebrated on 16th October every year. The main cause of celebrating this day is to remember the importance of food and the value of its availability.
History of World Food Day
World Food Day was established in November 1979, as suggested by former Hungarian minister of agriculture and food Dr Pal Roman
Theme 2021:- The theme of this year’s world food day is ”Safe food now for a healthy tomorrow”.
We are getting food from both living bodies as well as plants. Due to the growth of population food availability now become a headache for people. Less people are now doing farming that leads to less production of foods.
