Why Don’t Birds Have Teeth?
In the ancestral period, that is before 60 million years ago the birds have a pearly white teeth. In those days they used these teeth to break food into small pieces.
Some research says that due to adoption the birds lost their teeth only to improve their flight and egg hatching process.
How do birds eat without no teeth?
Usually, birds does not chew their food. They swallow the entire food at a time. They drop this in their throat and stored it inside their crop.
They have a good digestive tract and a curved break that helps them to break and digest the food that they take.
