Cystisoma | Smithsonian Ocean : Many rare aquatic animals can be found in the sea or ocean ecosystem. There is no proper reason
behind the unique quality of such animals.

Cystisoma is also such aquatic animal that is famous for its rare quality of adaptation.

Cystisoma is an amphipod and it lives in the deep sea. It looks nearly completely transparent. It is the only member of the family Cystisomatidae, that has Hyperiidea.

In low light conditions, it can survive easily. It lives below 3000 feet of the sea where there is no light available.
