Has the core inside the Earth stopped spinning ? Earth’s core is around 7000 kilometers wide from the top of its surface. Due to the climate change many mysterious things are happening. We could not see or guess what is going on there. But the geologist Earth scientist have a close eyes on it.

The deep interior part of earth may be changing its usual structural behavior. As per the report by Nature Geoscience says that the inner-core rotation of Earth has stooped recently. It may change the initial direction of the core.

Some Earth scientists states that the previous change in rotation was recorded in the early 1970s and the next may be in 2040s – predicted 

“We were quite surprised,” said Yi Yang and Xiaodong Song, seismologists at Peking University in Beijing who reported the findings today in Nature Geoscience1.
