National Energy Conservation Day 2022
National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated on 14th December every year. In the year of 1991, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency decided to celebrate this day. The main aim of this day is to create awareness of energy conservation and the right use of energy.
Ministry of Energy also celebrates Energy conservation week from 8th December to 14th December.
Objectives of National Energy Conservation Day:
- Create awareness among people on energy conservation
- Promote the importance and need for energy conservation for our future by organizing various activities.
- To create a mass change organization is trying to implement many ideas by arranging workshops, debates, events etc.
Need for Energy Conservation:
Today made non-renewable energy sources are gradually decreasing due to high demand. So we need to save this for our future needs. Now the world is planning to use more renewable energy like solar, wind, ocean energy, etc.
To reduce pollution, we also need to be aware of the ideal use of energy sources like fossil fuels. As a responsible person think today and save the future.
