The color of a flower is the result of the absorption of all colors except that particular, Example: if a flower petal is red then it absorbs all colors and reflects the red.
The color of a flower mainly depends upon pigments in the form of anthocyanins. The DNA of a plant is mainly responsible for the flower. DNA directs cells to produce pigments of various colors and the petals absorb all the color that is present in light but reflects that particular color.

But the change in color is a natural process. It depends upon many characteristics – includes both external and internal things.
